Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicles and panels for painting, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming
- Remove and refit vehicle components, trims, panels, lights, and fittings as required
- Carry out vehicle stripping and reassembly to a high standard
- Apply paint finishes in accordance with company standards
- Inspect completed work to ensure a high-quality finish and attention to detail
- Work independently to meet deadlines and allocated job times
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Communicate clearly regarding job progress and any additional work required
- Support and promote a positive, respectful, and team-focused work environment
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as an Automotive Painter, Prepper, or Fit & Strip Technician
- Strong knowledge of vehicle preparation, paint processes, and panel fitting
- Ability to safely remove and refit vehicle components without damage
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage workload efficiently
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Positive attitude with a professional and reliable work ethic
- Ability to maintain quality standards while working to deadlines
Qualifications
- Relevant trade qualification or proven industry experience in automotive painting, vehicle preparation, or fit and strip work
- Valid driver's licence

Pay: £30,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
