Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at St Peters Care Home in assisting with meal preparation and food safety in our bustling kitchen environment. PAY LABELLED IS NOT ACCURATE, SALARY TO BE DISCUSSED AT INTERVIEW STAGE.
Duties
- Support the kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking tasks
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
- Help with catering orders and ensuring timely delivery
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Assist in stock management and inventory control
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of culinary practices and basic cooking techniques
- Understanding of food safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.44 per hour
