CNC Router Machine Setter
The Role
We are looking for an experienced CNC Router Machine Setter to join our busy manufacturing team producing high-quality components. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC professional who takes pride in precision, quality, and efficiency.
As a CNC Router Setter, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and maintaining CNC routing machinery to manufacture kitchen components to exact specifications. You will work from production drawings and cutting lists, ensuring all parts are produced accurately and meet our high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- · Setting and operating CNC router machines within a busy kitchen manufacturing environment
- Programming and adjusting machine settings to achieve accurate cuts and finishes
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and production instructions
- Loading materials and ensuring correct tooling is used
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
- Identifying and resolving basic machine issues
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines and quality targets
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC routing machinery
- Experience within woodworking, joinery, kitchen manufacturing, or similar industries
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Knowledge of CNC tooling, offsets, and machine adjustments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Understanding of health & safety practices within a manufacturing environment
