FEAR Scream Park is looking for a hardworking and adaptable Maintenance Team Member to support the delivery of one of the UK’s most immersive Halloween events.
Working closely with the Head of Maintenance, you will play a vital role in ensuring all attractions, sets, and environments remain safe, operational, and show-ready throughout live event nights. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two shifts are the same. You will be part of a team that operates at the heart of the event, responding to issues in real time and helping maintain the high standards that make FEAR Scream Park a standout experience.
We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can remain both reactive and solution-focused under pressure. You’ll need to be comfortable working in dark, noisy, and highly immersive settings, while bringing a flexible, team-oriented attitude to every shift. A willingness to go beyond the core responsibilities and support the wider team is essential, as is a strong awareness of health and safety practices. Basic maintenance, DIY, or technical skills are essential.
- Assist the Head of Maintenance with the general upkeep and repair of all FEAR Scream Park attractions and infrastructure

Respond promptly to maintenance tickets and live operational issues

Carry out repairs and adjustments to sets, props, and builds during live event nights

Work in challenging environments, including:

Low-light conditions (torchlight work)

Loud audio and theatrical effects

Live, operational scare attractions
-
Ensure all attractions remain safe and compliant at all times

Support the team in refuelling chainsaw props and maintaining operational equipment

Ensure all fire pits across site are stocked, managed, and safely lit

Assist with pre-opening maintenance tasks when required

Work collaboratively across departments, supporting wider teams when needed
Due to the nature of this role, applicants must be 18 or over and have full availability for the whole duration of the contract.
This role involves evening and late-night work, including weekends. Due to the nature of the event, you must be comfortable working in intense and immersive environments. Additional training and support will be provided.
This role will require you to work on the following dates. Full availability on live dates is essential:
- Install & Build: TBC (select dates in September & October)

Live Dates: October 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st.
- Live nights: £18.00 per hour
