This is a hybrid, site-based role in Bridgwater (3 days in the office). We welcome candidates within commuting distance or willing to relocate with support available. The position supports the delivery of materials, corrosion and coatings engineering on a major nuclear construction programme. Your future team works closely with construction, engineering and supplier organisations to resolve technical challenges and maintain configuration control.
Supporting complex materials, coatings and corrosion engineering technical issues on site
Reviewing corrosion modelling, coating specifications and material selection decisions
Preparing technical assessments, engineering documentation and justification reports
️Collaborating with construction teams to resolve cross discipline technical queries
Reviewing supplier documentation and coordinating technical comment resolution
Leading technical meetings with suppliers and internal engineering stakeholders
- ️Supporting contract engineering oversight including scope, cost and schedule compliance
Managing design risks, early warnings and contract variation assessments
Coordinating interfaces between suppliers, client teams and engineering stakeholders
️Supporting configuration management activities including design changes and contract updates
