New Directions Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Primary Teachers to work in schools across Chester. This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and inspiring children to achieve their full potential.
We work with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools offering day-to-day, short-term, long-term, and potential temp-to-perm opportunities.
Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Planning and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback where required
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
- Contributing to the wider school community where required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and professional approach to teaching
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and the primary curriculum
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- A full driving licence and access to transport (beneficial)
