The role
As a Heating Engineer in our Renewable Energy Division, you'll install and maintain heating systems for residential customers across Cambridge and the surrounding area, with a strong focus on heat pump technology as we help homes make the switch to greener, more efficient heating.
Key responsibilities
- Installing air source and ground source heat pump systems and associated systems, mostly in private residential properties
- Working across retrofit, renovations and some private new-build/self-build projects
- Servicing and maintaining installed systems
- Delivering installations within agreed timescales
- Working closely with the project management team, electricians and other team members
- Commissioning and testing completed installations
- Completing accurate paperwork and documentation
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Delivering friendly, professional customer service on every job
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ level 3 in plumbing & heating
- ACS Gas CCN1, CENWAT highly desierable although not essential
- LPG and OIl qualifications a bonus
- BPEC or equivellant qualification in the installation and maintenance of air source heat pumps highly desirable, although training can be provided.
- Good communication skills and level of customer service.
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- 4 years minimum experience in residential heating system
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
