Requirements of a Care Assistant:
· Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle
· Be able to offer availability either early mornings (from 7am) or evening (from 4pm) and offer availability every other weekend
· Commit to attending a 4-day training course
· Located within an 5-mile radius of Bedford
· Have or be willing to obtain business vehicle insurance

Our Care Assistants travel to provide care to individuals in their own homes across the central Bedfordshire area including, Ampthill, Biggleswade, Bromham, Cauldwell, Clapham, Great Barford, Great Denham, Harpur, Kempston, Oakley, Risely, Sandy, Sharnbrook, Wixams Wilstead and Wooton, so we can only accept applications from people local to these areas.
Duties will include:
· Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
· Personal care
· Administering medication
· Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
· Shopping
· Housekeeping
· Meal preparation
· Taking Clients for appointments or outings
If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers.
