Legal Assistant (Energy)

The Role
As a Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the team to deliver excellent client service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Onboarding new clients, opening files and managing matter timelines
- Obtaining title information from the Land Registry, carrying out property searches and conducting legal research
- Handling client and third-party enquiries promptly and professionally
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to the team
- Assisting with financial administration, including billing and payments
About You
We’re looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our team on a full time, permanent basis with:
- Some recent experience as a Legal Assistant, Accounts Assistant or Office Administrator (preferred)
- An interest in working in the energy sector
- Some experience with accounts administration
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident telephone manner and a client-focused solutions driven approach
You will need good numeracy and literacy skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Experience with case management systems would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Please note this is a permanent, full time role, working Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, 35 hours per week. This role can be based in either our Bath or Plymouth office, but please note travel to the Bath office will be required from time to time when undertaking some responsibilities of the role.
