Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and energetic Multi-Trade Fit Out Operative to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of trade skills to deliver high-quality fit-out projects across commercial and residential spaces. Your expertise will help transform spaces efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, ensuring client satisfaction and project success. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out internal fit out and refurbishment works across multiple trades
- Work independently or as part of a site team to meet project deadlines
- Read and work from drawings, plans, and specifications
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and well organised
- Communicate effectively with site management, colleagues, and other trades
Multi-Trade Duties (including but not limited to):
- Carpentry and joinery (1st and 2nd fix) - including kitchen installation
- Basic plumbing works, including sanitaryware
- Flooring installation (vinyl, laminate, carpet tiles)
- Wall and floor tiling
- Painting and decorating
- Minor wall and patch repairs
- Door and ironmongery installation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a multi-trade operative within fit out or refurbishment environments
- Competency across several core trades, including carpentry, basic plumbing, flooring, tiling, decorating, and general repairs
- NVQ / City & Guilds qualification in a relevant trade or multi-trade discipline
- Valid CSCS card, Asbestos Awareness certification, and full UK driving licence
- Ability to read and work from drawings, plans, and instructions
- Reliable, professional, and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
