Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Therapist to join our small friendly dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventative dental care, assisting in patient education, and supporting the overall functioning of Gretna Dental Practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your clinical skills in a friendly and supportive environment, contributing to patients’ oral health and wellbeing.
Pay is dependent on experience and candidate profile.
Responsibilities
- Provide a range of dental treatments, including preventative care, restorative procedures and oral health education.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all practice standards.
- Engage with patients empathetically, ensuring a pain free and positive dental experience.
Requirements
- Recognised qualification as a Dental Therapist & full registration with the GDC.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Organised and committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and hygiene practices.
Pay: £35.00-£45.00 per hour
