Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced bricklayer to join our team. You will be responsible for working on new builds and also completing any repair works. This role requires strong understanding and ability to work efficiently and independently.
Duties
- Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units using hand tools and power tools to create walls, facades, and other structures.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, chipping, or applying mortar as needed before laying bricks.
- Measure and mark out work areas accurately, ensuring alignment and levelness of structures.
- Repair or restore existing brickwork by replacing damaged bricks or re-pointing mortar joints.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools and disposing of debris appropriately.
- Have an up to date knowledge on the NHBC Regulations and adhere to them.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bricklaying.
- Attention to Detail
- Up to date knowledge on NHBC regulations
- CSCS Card
Work will be on new build sites in Worcester and surrounding areas.
Job Types: Full-time, Self-employed
Pay: £180.00-£220.00 per day
