Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about the menu
- Upsell additional items, such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks
- Help ensure a smooth dining experience for guests by coordinating with the kitchen staff
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Process payment transactions accurately and securely
- Assist with basic cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and organized dining area
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to upsell and promote menu items effectively
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food safety guidelines is a plus
- Culinary knowledge or training is a bonus but not required
- Ability to provide excellent guest services in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
