Self-Employed Luton / Panel Van Driver
Location: Kettering / Northamptonshire
Pay: £140-£170 per day (depending on workload and vehicle)
Due to continued growth and new strategic partnerships across the Midlands, HNR Express Solutions Ltd is looking for a reliable self-employed driver to join our expanding team.
This is not parcel multi-drop work.
We specialise in professional B2B logistics, including same-day deliveries, palletised freight, engineering equipment, exhibitions, transhipments and specialist deliveries for commercial customers.
A company van will be provided, so we're looking for someone who will treat our vehicles with care and respect as if they were their own.
About the role
Work is varied and no two days are the same. Some days may involve local collections and deliveries across the Midlands, while others may require longer-distance work across the UK.
As we're involved in same-day logistics, flexibility is essential. There will be occasions where work comes in at short notice and the successful applicant must be willing to adapt.
Please note that workload naturally fluctuates. Some weeks may be extremely busy, while others may be quieter depending on customer demand. We are looking for someone who understands the nature of the industry and wants to build a long-term working relationship with a growing business.
What we're looking for
- Self-employed driver
- Aged 25+ (insurance requirements)
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience driving Luton vans preferred
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy items safely
- Hardworking with a positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Takes pride in keeping vehicles clean and well looked after
- Flexible with working hours when required
