Founded in 1975, Mott Motorcycles remains a family-owned business and is now one of the largest Yamaha dealerships serving the South. With a vast selection of new and used motorcycles and scooters, we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive range of motorcycle clothing, accessories, and parts. Our dealership also includes a full-service workshop dedicated to keeping riders safe and their bikes in prime condition.
The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Motorcycle Parts, Clothing, and Accessories Advisor.
This role is primarily focused on managing and developing our clothing, parts, and accessories department, while occasionally assisting with customer workshop bookings and job updates when required.
Previous retail and customer service experience is essential, and a background or strong interest in motorcycles would be a significant advantage.
Responsibilities
- Using online systems to source and identify parts for customers.
- Occasionally assisting with workshop administration and keeping customers updated on the progress of their motorcycle or ordered parts.
- Ordering, booking out, and managing accessories, clothing, and parts efficiently.
- Assessing customers’ needs and advising on suitable motorcycle clothing, sizing, and safety equipment.
- Delivering exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Maintaining a customer-first approach in all aspects of the role.
- Promoting awareness of our wide range of products and services.
- Greeting customers warmly and directing them to the relevant department or staff member when required.
- Communicating professionally with customers using both phone and email.

Beneficial Experience
- Knowledge of motorcycle apparel and accessories.
- Basic understanding of motorcycle mechanics.
- Previous experience in motorcycle parts or clothing sales.
- Personal experience as a motorcycle rider.
- Previous retail or sales experience within the motorcycle industry.
Working Hours
- Tuesday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
- Flexibility for occasional schedule changes due to events or staff holidays would be advantageous.
