Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status and document findings accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
Requirements
- Valid nursing registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform patient assessments and care strategies.
- Proficiency in medication administration, including understanding dosages, side effects, and interactions.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not essential for newly qualified nurses.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating independence in decision-making.
- A compassionate approach towards patient care, with a focus on empathy and support for patients’ needs.
