Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Retail Team Leader to oversee daily store activities and support the Store Management team in the smooth running of our Braehead store. Working as part of a small team, the successful candidate will support the Management team with stock control, visual merchandising and ensuring high standards of customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong organisational and management skills to contribute to the growth and success of our Braehead store.
The role is a full time position working 5 days per week.
Duties
- Lead and supervise team members, ensuring effective team management.
- Assist with daily store operations, including sales, stock management, and merchandising
- Cash handling. Processing returns / refunds.
- Manage administrative tasks such as customer orders, and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Foster strong relationships with customers, and store colleagues.
- Maintain organised store environments with effective visual merchandising techniques
- Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
Skills
- Previous experience within a retail environment, including supervising teams and overseeing operations
- Demonstrated sales management expertise with a focus on achieving targets
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficient in merchandising strategies and inventory control processes
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
