About the Role:
Traverse Global Trading and Logistics is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Lisburn. You will support the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, helping organise transport, monitor shipments and maintain accurate delivery records.
This role is suitable for someone who is organised, practical and comfortable managing several priorities at the same time. You will work with suppliers, carriers, warehouse teams and customers to make sure orders are collected, transported and delivered according to agreed schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
Shipment Coordination:
Arrange collections and deliveries with approved transport providers based on order requirements and agreed schedules.
Transport Booking:
Book road, sea or air freight services and confirm collection times, delivery dates and shipment details.
Shipment Tracking:
Monitor goods in transit and provide timely updates to customers, suppliers and internal teams.
Documentation:
Prepare and check delivery notes, packing lists, shipping instructions and other transport documents.
Order Management:
Review customer and supplier orders to confirm quantities, delivery addresses and required shipping dates.
Carrier Communication:
Maintain regular contact with transport providers to resolve delays, missing information and delivery issues.
Customer Updates:
Respond to routine delivery enquiries and communicate changes to expected collection or arrival times.
Warehouse Coordination:
Work with warehouse colleagues to confirm stock availability, loading schedules and dispatch readiness.
System Updates:
Record shipment information, tracking details, costs and delivery status in the company system.
Issue Resolution:
Investigate delayed, damaged or incomplete deliveries and support the process of finding a practical resolution.
Cost Checking:
Review transport charges against agreed rates and report unexpected differences before invoice approval.
Compliance Support:
Follow company procedures for transport documentation, customs requirements, data protection and record keeping.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
Previous experience in logistics, transport coordination, freight administration, shipping or a similar operational role is preferred.
Logistics Knowledge:
Basic understanding of transport bookings, shipment tracking, delivery documentation and warehouse processes.
Communication:
Strong spoken and written English with the confidence to communicate professionally with customers, suppliers and transport providers.
Organisation:
Ability to manage several active shipments, prioritise urgent requests and maintain accurate records.
Problem Solving:
Ability to investigate delivery problems, collect the correct information and take practical action.
Digital Skills:
Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, order management systems and transport or warehouse software.
Numerical Accuracy:
Ability to check quantities, dates, addresses, transport costs and order details carefully.
Teamwork:
Willingness to coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, sales and finance colleagues to keep orders moving efficiently.

You are dependable, organised and calm under pressure. You take ownership of shipment updates, communicate problems early and focus on keeping goods moving safely and on schedule.
Pay: £2,300.00-£2,700.00 per month
