The Job Role
This is an opportunity to join BID Group Ltd as Operations Assistant.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll be at the heart of our regional operations, supporting the day-to-day running of the Scotland depot.
This is a varied and fast-paced position, ideal for someone who is highly organised, proactive and enjoys working closely with customers and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Scotland region.
- Support depot operations during the Regional Manager's absence.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Complete and maintain site-specific and dynamic risk assessments.
- Coordinate and project manage larger jobs, resolving issues proactively.
- Act as the first point of contact for key account customers.
- Liaise with planners and regional management to ensure work is completed on time.
- Assist in achieving regional contribution and performance targets.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Support the wider team with additional operational duties as required.
- Keyholder for the depot (unlocking and locking the depot)
What We’re Looking For
You'll be an organised and confident individual with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience in an operations or administrative support role.
- Good knowledge of the industrial door industry and associated products.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.

Hours, Location and Salary
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (40 hours per week)
Location: Bellshill
Salary: £30k - £35K PA
