* Following successful probationary period.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:
As a Bakery Operative, you will support 24/7 production activities in our Bakery or Pie Factory areas and departments within (e.g. Packing, Confectionary, Hygiene).
Your tasks may include:
Production Support:
- Mixing, preparing, shaping, baking, assembling and packing our handcrafted products.
- Following production instructions from Team Leaders and Supervisors.
- Assisting with the set-up, operation and cleaning of production equipment/areas.
Quality Control:
- Carrying out basic checks such as weights, appearance and temperature.
- Ensuring all products meet Brownings' high-quality standards.
- Reporting any issues or inconsistencies promptly.
Flexibility Across Departments/Shifts:
- Working in bakery, savoury production, packing, hygiene or dispatch areas as required.
- Supporting colleagues to maintain smooth workflow and meet business demand.
- Flexibility across 24/7 shift patterns as driven by business need.
Communication & Teamwork:
- Communicating effectively with Team Leaders, Supervisors and fellow team members.
- Reporting production issues, delays or low stock levels.
- Contributing positively to Brownings' family-focused and supportive culture.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
