Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and proactive Workplace Host to deliver an outstanding front-of-house experience within a busy, modern office environment.
You will be the face of the workplace—providing a warm welcome to staff, visitors, and VIP guests while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. This is a customer-focused role where delivering a high-quality, “5-star” experience is key.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role.
Pay: From £13.75 per hour
Key ResponsibilitiesFront of House & Customer Service
- Deliver a concierge-style reception service, greeting all visitors professionally
- Act as the main point of contact for staff and guests
- Provide a welcoming and helpful presence across the workplace
- Register visitors, issue passes, and ensure a smooth arrival experience
Workplace Experience
- Monitor shared areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Carry out regular floor walks to identify and report maintenance or safety issues
- Support meeting room set-ups, ensuring rooms and AV equipment are ready
- Liaise with cleaning, facilities, and ICT teams to maintain service standards
Facilities & Operations Support
- Coordinate with contractors and facilities teams to resolve issues promptly
- Log defects and track maintenance requests
- Communicate updates clearly to workplace users
Deliveries & Post Handling
- Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries and post
- Distribute post and parcels across the office
- Coordinate courier services and notify recipients
- Maintain and organise internal mail systems
General Duties
- Work closely with security teams to maintain a safe environment
- Support events, meeting room bookings, and hospitality where required
- Assist with catering set-up and clear-down for meetings
- Maintain a flexible, can-do approach to support wider team needs

Desirable
- Experience in reception, facilities, or hospitality environments
