Doyle’s Bar is looking for outgoing, confident and energetic Promo Staff to help us spread the word about our venue, events, offers and big nights.
This isn't a job for someone who wants to stand quietly handing out flyers!
We need someone who can chat to anyone and everyone, approach new people with confidence and get customers excited about coming to Doyle’s.
You'll be out and about in Solihull promoting the bar, talking to potential customers and helping drive people through our doors.
What You'll Be Doing
- Promoting Doyle’s Bar around Solihull town centre.
- Approaching and chatting to members of the public.
- Handing out promotional material, offers and event information.
- Promoting upcoming parties, live music, DJs, sports events and special offers.
- Encouraging customers to visit Doyle’s on the day.
- Talking to local businesses and their staff about our offers and events.
- Promoting parties, group bookings and special occasions.
- Supporting promotional activity inside the venue during key events.
- Helping create a buzz around Doyle’s and our upcoming events.
- Representing Doyle’s in a fun, friendly and professional way.
Who We're Looking For
Personality is much more important to us than experience.
You'll need to be:
- Extremely outgoing and confident.
- Comfortable approaching complete strangers.
- Someone who can genuinely talk to anyone and everyone.
- Friendly, enthusiastic and full of personality.
- Persuasive without being pushy.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Happy working outdoors and around the town centre.
- Confident promoting offers and encouraging people to visit the venue.
- Able to bring plenty of energy to every shift.
Previous promotional, hospitality, sales, events or nightlife experience is useful, but it's absolutely not essential.
If you're naturally confident and love meeting and talking to new people, we'll show you the rest.
Hours
This is a flexible part-time role of approximately 5–15 hours per week, more available during peak times.
Shifts will vary depending on events and promotions and may include:
- Weekday daytime promotions
- Friday and Saturday evenings
- Major sporting events
- Special events and big nights
- Bank holidays and key trading dates
