Warehouse Operative – Parcel Sorter (PM & Night Shifts)
Location: Doogary, Omagh, County Tyrone, BT79
Shift Pattern: 5 or 6 days a week.
We are looking for people to work either of the two below shifts. Shifts can be flexible.
Hours: 2.00 PM - 6.00 PM (Monday to Saturday every week)
Hours: 1.00 AM - 8.00 AM (Monday to Saturday every week) - Start times do vary
Start Date: Immediate start available
Job Overview
We are recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a busy parcel sorting and distribution site in Newton Abbot. This is a fast-paced logistics role involving the handling, sorting, and preparation of parcels for onward national distribution.
This position is ideal for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for consistent shift work within a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting parcels quickly and accurately
- Over-labelling and processing returned items
- Preparing parcels for onward distribution
- Loading and unloading vehicles where required
- Scanning parcels using handheld devices
- Moving cages, totes, and freight safely
- Manual handling of items throughout the shift
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
Candidate Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to full shift patterns
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit due to manual handling requirements
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
Shift Details
- Long-term and ongoing opportunities may be available for the right candidates
- Overtime or additional shifts may be offered based on performance and demand
Additional Information
- This is a physically demanding role involving standing, lifting, and repetitive movement
- Full adherence to site safety and operational procedures is required
- Punctuality and attendance are essential
- PPE (including safety boots) will be required
