Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience across various trades and be capable of contributing to diverse building projects. Duties
- Construct, install, and repair structures using a variety of materials and techniques
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of projects
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during construction tasks
- Perform specialised tasks such as brick laying, pointing, masonry, granite cutting, installation of concrete lintels, tiling, doing driveways paving blocks and slabs etc..
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction-building trade and landscaping
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to construction work
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices within the construction industry
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights if necessary
- Relevant certifications or training in construction trades are desirable but not essential
- A proactive attitude with attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £15.00-£17.50 per hour
