We’re looking to cover shifts on Saturday, Sunday and Friday. You must be available to work these days. we may hire two people to cover these three shifts.
You MUST have at least 1 years experience of barista work with a professional coffee machine.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment sanitation and stock replenishment
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage cash register transactions accurately while handling customer payments and receipts
- Uphold health and safety standards by following proper food handling procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Passion for coffee, beverages, or hospitality is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
