Custom Cages is the leading manufacturer of Motorsport Roll Cages in the UK. Serving professional Motorsport teams is the driving force behind what we do, designing and developing bespoke roll cages and motorsport solutions to meet customer needs and MSA/FIA conformities.
Position
Experienced Welder / Fabricator.
Responsibilities
· Must be proficient in both MIG & TIG welding to the very highest quality welding various metals, including mild steel, titanium and aluminium.
· Self Motivated and able to work on own initiative.
· Preparation of motorsport body shells for race & rally cars, modern & historic.
· Fabricate parts following technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accuracy to a high standard
· Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently during fabrication
· The ability to read technical drawings to determine measurements and weld points.
· Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety rules.
· Fitting of roll cages into body shells as well as Jig & Fixture bench work.
· Working closely with an experienced engineering team.
Experience Required
· MIG/TIG welding experience essential.
· Proven experience in general fabrication work.
· Proficient in welding techniques specific to motorsport standards.
· Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools.
· Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
· Ability to interpret technical drawings effectively.
· Attention to detail.
· Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Salary
The salary will reflect the specialist skill level required - dependent on experience.
