Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced General Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various duties including assisting with house clearances, deliveries, warehouse tasks, and general support across different departments. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to handle physical tasks efficiently. Responsibilities
- Working in a small team to complete house clearances, removal of furniture and effects to site and disposals
- Conduct deliveries using a recognised UK driver licence, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
- Assist with warehouse operations, including loading and unloading items, organising stock, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move goods or equipment safely within the premises or during deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Support various departments with ad hoc tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory movements.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations during all activities, especially when handling heavy or bulky items.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a driver or in commercial driving roles.
- Valid UK driver licence essential; clean driving record preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
