Job Summary

Duties
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and hands-on inspection techniques
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and extend machinery lifespan
- Repair and overhaul machinery using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Conduct heavy lifting safely when handling large components or equipment parts
- Follow detailed assembly instructions to install or upgrade machinery components accurately
- Utilize welding skills to repair or modify metal parts as needed for optimal functionality
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inspections for compliance and tracking purposes
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Experience in equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to mechanical work and equipment handling
- Prior experience working with heavy machinery or industrial equipment is preferred but not required
Pay: £150.00-£200.00 per day
