We are a leading UK manufacturer within the fragrance and personal care sector, developing and producing high-quality products for both own-brand and private label customers.
As we continue our growth journey, we are seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee the team ensuring the delivery of the production plan, adherence to quality standards and the wellbeing of their team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive team performance, quality standards, and health & safety compliance across your area.
- Lead your team day-to-day — from confidential absence and performance conversations to regular one-to-ones.
- Own delivery of the production plan, working closely with Planning, Quality, and Logistics to hit on-time delivery and minimise loss.
- Champion the ERP system within your team, keeping data accurate and workflows running smoothly.
- Keep your area safe and compliant — running risk assessments and COSHH assessments as standard.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives, using PDCA and 5W/2H to get to the root of production issues fast.
- Set the standard for housekeeping and hygiene through a strong 5S regime.
- Spot opportunities to work smarter — driving continuous improvement in efficiency and cost.
Skills & Experience:
- A proactive and motivated individual with strong leadership skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet production targets.
- Manufacturing experience essential; health & beauty or a similar FMCG environment a strong advantage.
- A confident communicator, equally at home briefing your team or representing your area in meetings.
- Solid grasp of quality conformity requirements and continuous improvement practices.
- A data-driven approach to decision-making, with experience in identifying and addressing root causes of issues
Pay: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
