We supply modern, reliable plant equipment — from excavators and mini diggers to dumpers and rollers — to contractors and homeowners across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and beyond. We’re now looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our growing transport team at our South Cerney depot.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering and collecting plant equipment (excavators, dumpers, rollers and attachments) to and from customer sites.
- Operating beavertail plant carriers safely and efficiently.
- Loading, securing and unloading equipment using chains, straps and chocks in line with company procedures.
- Performing daily walk-around checks and keeping accurate inspection records.
- Maintaining compliance with CPC, tachograph and Working Time regulations.
- Providing excellent customer service – you’ll be the face of Bison on-site.
- Keeping your vehicle clean, roadworthy and representing the company professionally at all times.
What we’re looking for
- A valid Category C (Class 2) licence with no more than 6 points.
- Driver CPC (DQC) and Digital Tachograph card.
- Previous experience transporting heavy loads or operating plant vehicles.
- Good local knowledge of Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire.
- A safety-first attitude, reliability and attention to detail.
- Physically fit with a professional, customer-focused approach.
