Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work well within a team environment. The main bulk of the job is joinery work, however it would be ideal if you have any basic plumbing and electrical experience (training can be provided).
Responsibilities
- Fit out of portable site cabins i.e laying new plywood flooring , fitting of wall & ceiling boards, timber stud work, kitchen units & worktops and other general joinery works
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform general site maintenance and clean-up tasks.
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
- Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Ripping out and cleaning of unit internals
- Training to be provided in required
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is required
