SHOP/SALES ASSISTANT
Are you passionate about customer service, have a keen interest in working with fresh produce and thrive in a fast-paced retail/deli environment? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Shop/Sales Assistant at Fish & Farm, Social/Larder/Deli.
Position: Shop/Sales Assistant
Location: Newcastle, Co Down
Hours: Full-time/Part-time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet customers as they enter the shop and provide assistance as needed.
Maintain a tidy and organised shop environment.
Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions.
Prepare & serve from the deli counter for sit-in or takeaway.
Prepare & serve coffee/drinks for sit-in or takeaway.
Operate till and handle transactions accurately.
Restock shelves and monitor stock levels.
Answer customer enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service and smooth shop operations.
Always follow company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience in retail or customer service preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays.
