Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of deli foods, including sandwiches, salads, and cold cuts, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist customers by providing friendly service, answering questions about products, and offering suggestions to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including food displays, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure all food items are stored properly according to food safety regulations and rotate stock to minimize waste
- Upsell additional products such as beverages, snacks, or premium ingredients to increase sales opportunities
- Follow all food safety procedures diligently, including proper handling, sanitation practices, and temperature controls
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is highly preferred
- Familiarity with serving customers in a retail or hospitality environment enhances your ability to deliver outstanding service
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices is essential

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
