About the Role We are an exciting new jewelry shop opening in Woolwich, and we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic team member to help bring our vision to life. As a Weekend team member, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring every customer who walks through our doors has a wonderful experience. From day-to-day retail to hosting engaging workshops, you will be central to creating a welcoming and creative atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Warmly greet customers, assist with product inquiries, and guide them through our jewelry selection.
- Jewelry Making Assistance: Provide hands-on support and encouragement to customers participating in jewelry-making sessions.
- Events & Workshops: Host and manage private workshops and in-store events, ensuring guests have an engaging and memorable experience.
- Store Presentation: Maintain a clean, organized, and beautifully presented shop floor.
- Stock Management: Assist with inventory, restocking, and general shop upkeep.
Requirements
- A friendly, outgoing, and confident personality—you should be comfortable speaking to groups and leading events.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- A genuine interest in jewelry and craftsmanship (previous retail or event experience is a plus).
Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 11.30 am – 6:00 pm.
- Start Date: ASAP
- Pay: £14 per hour, plus performance-based bonuses.
