We are looking for a highly motivated process operator/TIG welder to join our small, well established and very busy company very soon. We offer a unique repair service for high performance engine components to customers throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in an industrial/manufacturing position (please DO NOT apply if you don't have that), MUST have experience with precision measurement using micrometers and preferably with experience in working with manual machine tools (lathe, mill etc) or electroplating. After training, we will expect that you will be able to work with little supervision, and we will trust you to perform to a very high standard following established process techniques whether your supervisor is watching or not.
A background in motorsport mechanics would be very interesting to us, and there will be opportunities to learn many skills and to advance within the company as the business grows and you gain experience. The work is varied and is often technically challenging and requires careful attention to detail.
For this position, we value the right attitude and experience more than formal training.
