Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Nursery Nurse (Level 3) to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, supporting their development in a safe and nurturing environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Supervise children during play, meal times, and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues to support individual learning plans
- Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages children’s social, emotional, and physical development
- Support the organisation of daily routines and ensure the nursery environment remains clean, safe, and stimulating
- Collaborate with management to develop programmes that meet the needs of all children
- Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices, including effective communication with children, parents, and team members
- Assist with administrative tasks related to child records and compliance documentation
- Occasionally support with driving duties for nursery outings or related activities
Skills
- Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings, ideally holding a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff and support team cohesion
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in childcare
- Ability to work effectively within a team while demonstrating initiative and organisational skills
- Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds with sensitivity and understanding
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children during outings or activities
- Passionate about early childhood education with a caring attitude towards young learners

Pay: £24,420.00-£36,868.81 per year
