We are currently seeking a dedicated, organised and motivated individual to join our team as Assistant Housekeeping Manager. Working closely with the Housekeeping Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department and ensuring our bedrooms and public areas are maintained to the highest possible standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the Housekeeping Manager with the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department.

Supervise, motivate and support the housekeeping team to maintain consistently high standards.

Assist with allocating daily room and cleaning duties.

Check bedrooms and public areas to ensure they meet the required standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Monitor linen, cleaning products and housekeeping supplies, reporting shortages when required.

Report maintenance issues and ensure they are followed up appropriately.

Respond to guest requests and concerns in a professional and helpful manner.

Ensure all health & safety, COSHH and company procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a housekeeping or hotel environment.

Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.

Good communication skills and the ability to motivate and support a team.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

A positive attitude and genuine commitment to maintaining high standards.

Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays and busy periods as required.
