Darwin Cambridge Limited T/A Hyfly is a Cambridge-based private hire company providing reliable and safe transport services. We specialise in school transport, airport transfers, and local journeys, with a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer care.
Role Overview:
We are looking for responsible and reliable Drivers for the School Run to safely transport children to and from school. This role is ideal for drivers who are punctual, patient, and committed to maintaining a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport children between home and school
- Ensure passengers are seated and secure at all times
- Follow assigned routes and schedules strictly
- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude
- Conduct basic vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Report any incidents or delays promptly
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence
- Private Hire Driver Licence and Private Hire Vehicle License (Cambridge City Council / South Cambridgeshire County Council or relevant authority preferred)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
- Good communication skills
- Patient and child-friendly attitude
Note: If you do not currently hold a Private Hire Driver Licence or Private Hire Vehicle Licence, we can provide guidance and support with the application process. Please note that all licences must be obtained and approved by the relevant local authority before you can begin working.
Working Hours:
- Typically morning and afternoon school runs (part-time)
