We have a opportunity for a property professional who thrives on strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making and transforming the way organisations manage their assets. As Estates Strategic Asset Surveyor, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the Council's property portfolio by developing and delivering our Strategic Asset Management Plan, ensuring every asset supports organisational priorities, financial sustainability and long-term growth.
At a time of significant change within local government, you will be at the centre of one of the most important programmes in our organisation, helping prepare the Council's property portfolio for Local Government Reorganisation and supporting its transition into a new unitary authority. You will lead property data migration, help procure modern asset management systems and ensure that robust information underpins key strategic decisions for years to come.
The role offers a unique blend of strategic planning and hands-on estate management. You will analyse complex property, financial and performance data, oversee lease events across a diverse portfolio, support statutory asset valuations and work closely with finance, facilities management and senior leaders to maximise asset performance and value.
We are looking for an experienced property professional with strong technical knowledge of asset management, leases and property data systems, excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear strategic recommendations. Experience in financial reporting, property databases and large-scale organisational change programmes will be highly beneficial.
If you are searching for a new role where you can influence major strategic decisions, drive transformation and help shape the future management of a significant public sector property portfolio, this could be the opportunity for you.
