This is a flexible, remote role. It is not based around fixed shifts. Instead, you will monitor incoming enquiries during agreed coverage hours and carry out work when customers or cleaners need attention.
The role would suit someone who already works remotely or has other flexible commitments and is looking for additional part-time work.

- Prepare and send quotations using our pricing guidelines
- Follow up prospective customers
- Confirm bookings with clients
- Find and recruit suitable cleaners in the required area

- Find replacement cleaners if someone cancels
- Keep simple records of enquiries, bookings and cleaners
- Deal with routine customer questions and scheduling changes
- Escalate unusual complaints, refunds or pricing decisions to the business owner
How the role works
There are no fixed daily shifts.
During agreed coverage hours, you should normally be able to notice and acknowledge a new enquiry within approximately 30–60 minutes.
You do not need to sit at your computer waiting for work and you are free to carry out other work when there are no active enquiries or bookings.
You will be paid for time spent actively working on Starling Property Cleaning Services, including customer communication, quoting, cleaner recruitment, scheduling and problem-solving.
The expected active workload is initially around 2–8 hours per week, although this will depend on the number of enquiries and bookings and is not guaranteed.
Pay
£15 per hour for active work
Plus £40 per week availability payment for providing the agreed enquiry coverage.
There is potential for additional hours and responsibility as the business grows.
