Klarius Products Ltd is the largest manufacturer of aftermarket emissions components in the UK, based in Cheadle, Staffordshire. The business offers a range of over 10,000 premium components, available with next morning delivery in vast majority of the UK. Parts offered by Klarius include exhausts, catalytic converters (CATs), diesel particulate filters (DPFs), mountings and accessories – all of which are designed to match or exceed the application performance of the equivalent OE part. Products cater for most of the automotive spectrum, incorporating everything from SUVs to sports cars, classics to light commercial vehicles and everything in-between.
We are currently recruiting for welders to weld emission’s products (exhausts). The ideal candidate will have expertise in MIG welding techniques, particularly in the fabrication and assembly of exhaust systems, and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work. You will be welding light gauge Steele 1.5mm too 2mm thick

This role features a recruitment bonus- receive £1,000 after the successful completion of your 12 week probation period
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding of exhaust components, ensuring precise and high quality welds to meet design specifications and industry standards
- assemble exhaust systems by welding various components
- inspect weld joints and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, making necessary adjustments and corrections as needed
- maintain and clean welding equipment
- work closely with other team members
- adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, wearing the appropriate PPE and following best practices to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
- proven experience as a MIG welder, specific experience in welding exhaust components
- familiarity with various metals
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- proficiency in operating MIG welding equipment and tools
- attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds
- problem solving skills and ability to work independently
- willingness to work in a team orientated environment
- prior experience in manufacturing or automotive industry
Hours of work:
- Weekly alternating shift pattern (37.5 hours p/w total).
- Overtime available (at applicable overtime rates)
Week A
- Monday- Thursday 06:00-14:00
- Friday 06:00-12:30
Week B
- Monday-Thursday 14:00-22:30
- Friday 12:30-17:00
Pay:
- £14.01 per hour + £1.58 shift premium: Total hourly rate- £15.59
- Please note that there are achievable further bonuses per month based on areas such as attendance and performance. Last months bonuses averaged at £77 for the month.
