We are looking for an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Rota Coordinator to join our growing care team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring our services are safely staffed and that the people we support continue to receive high-quality, person -centred care.

As a Rota Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining effective staff rotas, coordinating cover for absences, and supporting managers to ensure staffing levels consistently meet the needs of the people we support.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and maintain staff rotas across our services.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained at all times.
- Schedule staff to meet their contractual hours whilst taking account of agreed availability, service requirements and authorised working restrictions.
- Coordinate cover for annual leave, sickness, training, and other absences.
- Allocate shifts fairly and consistently, including overtime opportunities.
- Work closely with Registered Managers and operational teams to meet service needs.
- Monitor staffing trends and identify potential rota gaps in advance.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with working time regulations.
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding rota changes, shift allocations and availability.
- Support the achievement of efficient staffing while maintaining high standards of care.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in rota planning, scheduling.
- Experience within health and social care is desirable.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong administrative and IT skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding service and supporting high-quality care.
