About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and reliable Administrator to provide administrative and business support across the company.
This is a varied role working closely with the Management, Projects, Finance and Procurement teams. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, keeping accurate records and ensuring day-to-day processes are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor company email accounts, dealing with enquiries and ensuring requests are directed to the appropriate team member.
- Provide general administrative support to the Management Team, including documents, spreadsheets, correspondence and meeting arrangements.
- Provide project administration support, including Network submissions, Section 50 applications, utility searches, scanning, filing and maintaining project records.
- Support the Approved Supplier process by issuing supplier forms, collating information, maintaining the supplier database and preparing information for management review.
- Support procurement activities, including managing procurement enquiries, ordering consumables, liaising with suppliers and processing Purchase Orders.
- Assist in the administration of the invoice process.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets, trackers and other company records.
- Arrange hotel and travel bookings for employees and management.
- Provide general administrative support across the business and assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an administration, business support or similar role.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence dealing with suppliers, customers and colleagues.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
Experience within the construction, utilities, engineering or infrastructure sector would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
