Job Summary
Due to expanding business, we have an open position for a friendly and professional Bartender to join our hospitality team on a part-time basis here at Rumba Nantwich. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic bar environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards. Shifts will be varied according to business needs, with rotas published a minimum of 2 weeks in advance, which will include late night weekends.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, to venue specification.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving policies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote ongoing patronage.
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality settings is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Strong work ethic and initiative
