Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our premises, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, along with skills in cooking and customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting where attention to detail and a positive attitude are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, communal areas, and private spaces to the highest standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and organise supplies as required
- Perform light cooking tasks as needed to support guest comfort
- Restock toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other amenities
- Ensure all areas are free from hazards and maintain safety protocols at all times
- Respond promptly to guest requests with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain cleanliness of public spaces including lobbies, corridors, and dining areas
- Follow established procedures for waste disposal and laundry services
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to perform light cooking tasks when necessary
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or priorities
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting or bending
