We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to join our busy hotel team.
This is a vital role within the hotel, and we are seeking someone who takes genuine pride in their work and understands the importance of delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness for our guests.
The successful candidate must be flexible and available to work any day of the week, including weekends and public holidays. Previous housekeeping experience within a busy hotel environment is essential.
About the Role
Working as part of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring all guest bedrooms, public areas, and housekeeping stores are maintained to the highest possible standards. You must be able to work efficiently under strict deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
We are looking for someone who can consistently deliver spotless rooms that are perfectly presented and ready for each guest's arrival.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning guest bedrooms to an exceptionally high standard within allocated timeframes.
- Stripping and making beds to ensure they are neat, crisp, and professionally presented.
- Thoroughly cleaning all bedroom areas, including high and low surfaces, under and behind furniture, and all fixtures and fittings.
- Ensuring bathrooms are immaculate, including cleaning walls, floors, showers, baths, sinks, mirrors, and toilets.
- Replenishing guest supplies, including tea, coffee, toiletries, and other room amenities.
- Ensuring all rooms are fully prepared and inspected before guest arrival.
- Counting, organising, and putting away laundry deliveries.
- Maintaining well-organised and fully stocked housekeeping areas and linen stores.
- Cleaning and maintaining all public areas throughout the hotel, including:
- Reception and entrance areas
- Corridors, staircases, and landings
- Lift areas
- Restaurant and function rooms
- Public toilets
- External guest areas
- Reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Following all health and safety procedures and hotel standards.
