Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to oversee daily operations of our retail outlet. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable to better serve our diverse clientele. The Store Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining organisational efficiency and upholding brand standards.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the store team, providing guidance and support to optimise performance and morale
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets
- Oversee merchandising activities, ensuring products are well-presented and stock levels are maintained
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing enquiries professionally via phone and in person
- Organise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Conduct staff training programmes focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and manage stock organisation
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Maintain administrative records such as sales reports, staff attendance, and stock control documentation
Experience
- Proven management experience within a retail environment, preferably with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work culture
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and organisational abilities
- Experience in sales management, merchandising, and administrative tasks
- Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage time efficiently
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly advantageous for engaging with diverse customers
- Previous experience in retail management or similar roles involving team management, customer service excellence, and operational oversight is essential
