Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within a 29-bedded EMI/Residential setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalised care and support. This post is for a part time position with a minimum of 16 hours covering days and back shifts. It is to be noted that this is the minimum contractual hours but additional hours may be required.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in accordance with care plans.
- Support individuals with mobility needs, including helping them move safely around the premises.
- Engage residents in social activities and encourage participation to promote mental well-being.
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team members to ensure personalised care delivery.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is preferred. One year of experience is essential in working in the health and social care sector
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes are desirable.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals. Pay: £12.80-£13.50 per hour
