Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager, to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in food service and hospitality, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant or hotel operations, including food preparation, serving, and overall guest experience.
- Manage and motivate team members to ensure high levels of performance, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
- Coordinate food production activities, ensuring quality control in culinary offerings.
- Supervise kitchen staff, baristas, servers, and other team members to optimise efficiency and service delivery.
- Develop staff schedules, organise training programmes (including food safety), and conduct performance appraisals.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests while handling any complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as necessary, and manage budgets to optimise operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold organisational standards in hospitality, cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest experience.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hotel environment is essential.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, culinary arts or related fields is highly desirable.
- Experience in managing teams within hospitality settings such as restaurants or hotels is required.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production is crucial.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations including food safety procedures and quality control processes.
- Previous roles involving serving customers or working as a barista are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: Up to £40,000.00 per year
