Outreach Support Worker (Bank) – Prosperity Children’s Services

Starting pay at £13:50 per hour during weekdays and £15:56 per hour during weekends with additional £60 for a sleep shift

About the Role
This is not your typical support role. Our Outreach Workers respond to urgent unplanned last minute, and planned requests from local authorities, often at short notice. You’ll provide support in a range of settings, helping to stabilise situations and ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people.
Shifts can vary and may include:
- Early mornings, daytime, evenings, and waking nights
- Short welfare checks (a few hours)
- Medium and full-day shifts
- Residential cover and emergency placements
- Last-minute or same-day response shifts
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking individuals who:
- Are highly flexible and responsive, including availability at short notice
- Can confidently work in dynamic and sometimes unpredictable environments
- Have experience in children’s services, support work, or similar (preferred but not essential)
- Remain calm, professional, and child-focused under pressure
- Hold a full UK driving licence (vehicles provided for shifts)

Essential Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Enhanced DBS (paid for by the company)
- All employees are required to undertake our Crisis prevention institute training as part of our paid induction.
